Mariana Harpreet speaks of Mallorca with great respect, like someone who knows they have found their place in the world. In fact, although she was born in Mexico, Mallorca has also been a birthplace for her: spiritually, emotionally, and professionally. Perhaps because of the rebirth she has experienced here, she defines herself as "mexiterranean." After all, on the island, she says, she found the perfect place to deposit all that she has learned and share it with others through Sadhana Works.
Learning – kundalini, craniosacral therapy, family constellations – was part of a deep and personal healing process, she confesses, which has now taken shape on the island as a space: a "community space" with the mission of inviting people to embark on their inner journey through classes, workshops, and urban retreats taught by herself and the group of women who are an intrinsic part of the project, as well as great teachers from around the world who come to Sadhana Works.
Although she has already spent seven years on an island she feels "a deep love and gratitude" for, Mariana never tires of admiring Mallorca: "It’s enough to go to a natural spot, take off your shoes, see how the light filters through the olive and almond trees, hear the sound of the sea and the wind… to understand that if you can’t feel that admiration for something greater than us here, you won’t be able to feel it anywhere else."
She says this sincerely and confidently, while cultivating her purpose: to attract, through Sadhana Works, people from around the world who are seeking something different, or, in other words, "the different visitor who deserves the island," beyond the mass tourism that dominates the headlines during peak season. "Many people think of Mallorca as a party destination to get drunk, when in essence it is a place of beauty, devotion, and awakening. I try to make sure that everything Sadhana Works offers is linked to this Mallorcan essence."
"Mallorca, like Mexico, is a very fertile land for inner transformation."
What Mariana feels and expresses is not new. This Mediterranean island has attracted musicians, artists, writers, and creatives from all corners of the world for centuries, but also people who were seeking to find themselves, awaken, and start over. It may be its light, its aura; it may be the landscape or perhaps its energy. Whatever it is, as Mariana comments, "Mallorca, like Mexico, is a very fertile land for inner transformation. The number of monasteries on this island already speaks to its spiritual potential, its tradition of hermits who came here to seek connection with the divine."

"Sadhana Works is a place that impacts consciousness and incites personal transformation and deep reflection."
And this reverence for the island has a lot to do with a deep sense of awareness. "Generally, we are connected to the movie, but the movie is just the projection of what is happening. Consciousness, for me, is remembering this, so we can then 'project a different reality: one that is more harmonious, more conscious, more just, more peaceful, more compassionate. But that is collective work.'"
It is precisely on this path that her project stands, offering classes in different styles of yoga and sound healing in a beautiful space on Sant Feliu Alley in Palma, as well as experiences and retreats that include family constellations, workshops, and retreats for anyone who arrives "with open eyes and an open heart," seeking, more than just a yoga studio, a place "that impacts consciousness and sparks personal transformation and deep reflection."
Sadhana Works is not a result of chance. It is a conscious project that had to be born here – due to the peace and tranquility that can be felt on the island – and has been nurtured by Mariana's desire to offer others the tools that helped her heal her wounds. But there is a third reason, one that perhaps transcends the others. Sadhana Works is the result of a conviction: the certainty that "it is urgent for each of us to do what we can to live better in awareness, in peace, in harmony, in health. In love."
