One of the most common problems we all have is when friends come to visit us and we don't know where we can take them to spend an evening together. We know and have been to countless places ourselves, but at that moment our brain seems to give up and goes blank. That's something that happened to us recently. We were enjoying a wonderful morning in a cove in the Llevant area of the island when that time to decide a place to go for lunch came up and that dreadful question arose, where should we go?

It's not just that our minds went blank, but it's also not easy to choose a place when people's preferences are so disparate and varied. Luckily for us, the agony would soon be over. Suddenly, as if by magic, I remembered a conversation I had had with other friends who told me about a restaurant in this area of the island. So once we had a clear direction, we were on our way. We arrived at our destination, Organic Mallorca, located on the beachfront in Cala Marçal.

We ordered a table for 3 on their terrace which enjoys exceptional views of the cove. A terrace full of plants and flowers, hanging from all sides and colorfully dressing the tables. With the menu in hand the time to choose had come. Just as choosing the place took us some time, knowing what we want to eat is a decision we make more quickly. The waiters, very friendly, take our order quickly. They come and go non-stop, concerned about providing an excellent experience. Soon our smoothies arrived: Sangre de toro, made with strawberry, raspberry and watermelon and Besado por el sol, composed of orange, mango, carrot, banana and ginger. Both are refreshing and tasty. The first sweeter and the other more acidic, they are perfect to start to whet the appetite.

Also as a starter or to whet your appetite, there is a table of three different types of bread: one sweet, one with seeds and one rye. Crunchy and with a spongy crumb, they are the perfect accompaniment to the ali oli and olives side. Shortly after, our main courses arrived. On the waiter's recommendation I had ordered the tuna and salmon tartare with mango, cucumber and thyme. A tasty and juicy fish that comes with  fresh vegetables and fruits that play on our palate with every bite. A curious combination that awakens our senses and refreshes us. A tasty and light dish.

The other main course is tagliatelle alla norma with seafood (mussels and clams) and arugula pesto. A generous plate of pasta cooked al dente and a delicious sauce that matched perfectly with the mussels and clams. Intense flavors and not at all cloying. To close in style, we chose a dessert and a coffee; Vegan panna cotta with mango and strawberry syrup. A delicious homemade dessert, with a great combination of acid and sweet touches of fruit. And Ice Coffee served in a wine glass with lots of foam and sprinkled with cinnamon. Despite the initial panic, we were right with the choice of the restaurant and we left pleased.
