Usually you are not aware of everything you have until you happen to lose it or, on other occasions, until you travel away from home and compare it with your own. And that is what happens to us. We know we live in a privileged environment, but many times we don't believe it or we don't know how to take advantage of it. Luckily for us, Mallorca is a paradise. A great island that offers a million experiences and unique places. That is why people choose us as their favorite tourist destination.

In the cold season, we can escape to the mountains, traveling hundreds and hundreds of kilometers in a unique environment. Or enjoy the charms of our inland villages, discovering each of its unique corners. But the jewel in the crown, obviously, are the beaches; large, small, sandy or rocky. And the best time to enjoy them, of course, is the summer. As we are sure you already know many of them, we bring you a different plan to enjoy such a wonderful spot as Playa de Muro. Not long ago we spent a whole day enjoying a great variety of marine sports with the good people of Water Sports Mallorca.

The day starts early, taking advantage of the calm sea early in the morning, we get on the paddle surf boards to go a few meters out to sea and start our first class: SUP Yoga. If on land it is already a unique experience for the body and mind, in the sea the lessons take on another level.  Being able to breathe the fresh air and feel the sea breeze while we concentrate on our breathing and movements is something truly incredible. Our fear was to fall off the board, but both doubts and fears dissipate quickly.

With our batteries recharged and our heart rate at a minimum, it is time to gear up our day. With the entrance of s'embat, the wind that is so characteristic of this area and under the guidance of Anna, our instructor, we get ready to do the next class: windsurfing. Here things get a little complicated, since it is the first time we practice this sport, but luckily Anna is a wonderful teacher and with her patience and good work she gives us a couple of tips and basic tricks to be able to hold ourselves more than 3 seconds on the board. With strength and courage we start surfing the waters, always aware of the wind direction. Soon we leave the problems aside and let ourselves be embraced by an incredible feeling of freedom and large doses of adrenaline that will be with us for the rest of the day.

While we are enjoying the wind, one of the catamarans at their disposal takes off. There is a family on board, who after a little technical talk and dressed in a wetsuit and vest, are ready to sail the seas. Before we even know it, they are lost in the immensity of the bay. After a little rest on the shore, it's time for our last activity: KiteSurfing. This time our instructor is Tiago, who encourages us to discover this wonderful sport and test our limits. Just as windsurfing is a bit easier, kite surfing requires more concentration and strength. We start by getting to know our equipment and everything we need to learn to make both surfer and kite be just one. Once this is clear, we continue with the next step: flying and controlling the kite. And finally, quite nervous and feeling lots of excitement, we get on the board. It is true that we are not Gisela Pulido, but the truth is that considering it was our first time, it was not bad at all.

We put an end to our day of adventures and emotions. We are exhausted but grateful to Marc and his team for giving us the opportunity to discover and practice various water sports with some incredible people.
